As 2015 draws to a close, we look back at a very productive and successful year.
We are now creating more products than ever before including many new lines launched for Christmas.
There have been a number of contributing factors to this success.
Over the last year we have made significant investment in production including a new facility with capabilities for breaded cheese and shell potato production and we now have a dedicated and improved area for prawn toast.
We’ve also welcomed new colleagues to compliment and strengthen our existing team including a new Director, Nigel Horsman with a wealth of experience in the food industry.
In partnership with our suppliers we’ve improved ingredients and further developed recipes. Our relationships with all our suppliers’ remains strong and we look forward to this continuing in to 2016 and beyond.
Quality has continued to be our key focus and our performance reflects this. All manufacturing sites achieved green BRC ratings and service levels for the year to 30th September were 99.3%.
And not least, and integral to our success, I’d like to thank all members of the SK Foods team, particularly at this, our busiest time of year. I’m proud to say that our focus through this time, as always, has been on producing only the best quality chilled snacks for all of our valued customers.
2016 looks set to be an action packed year, and we’re off to a flying start. We will shortly be making an exciting announcement about training and development for staff from every level across the business. As ever, our innovation team are hard at work creating ever more imaginative dishes and looking forward to continuing to work with our customers to create great tasting 2016 ranges. We’re also hoping to increase our digital footprint and presence on social media, keep an eye out for our regular updates.
I’d like to wish you a very Merry Christmas on behalf of all at SK Foods.
